Inspired Minds Brielle Class Levels

At Inspired Minds Brielle we want to make sure every student has a rewarding experience. And while most of our classes are suitable for multiple ages and skill levels, it is important to be in a class that isn’t completely below or above one’s experience level. The suggested class levels are to help you decide which classes are right for you and of course please contact us for any questions!

Intro Level - No prior art experience expected. This is for young students ages 4.5-7 that love the creative experience. Students in this class complete projects together as a class and will get introduced to the wonderful world of art and experiment with multiple mediums and art genres. 

Level 1 - No prior art experience expected, but students must be at least 6 yrs. of age. In our Level 1 classes students complete projects together as a class. Each project will build fine art techniques that will build students proficiency so they can have a rewarding experience in our level 2 classes. 

Level 2 - Students should not enter these classes with no previous art skills. At this level, the instructor will teach students as a group and also independently to build their art knowledge and techniques. At this level students will be expected to have a base knowledge of art materials and practices.

Level 3 - This level is reserved for students ages 11-12 and up. Classes in this level will teach concepts meant for students with previous art knowledge and skills, and ultimately the instructor determines if a student is ready for this level. Level 3 classes are for students who wish to take their creative skills and interests to the next step. Students will be led in skill building group lessons as well as guided independently. These classes often will include advanced techniques in various mediums as well as portfolio development.

Adult Level - This level is for students who are 18+ and is for all skill levels. Our adult classes provide an environment to express yourselves creatively, wherever you’re at. Our adults range from beginner to advanced and are interested in a wide range of mediums and genres of art. Our professional instructors work with each student independently.
